NHS Winter Formal Dance @ WHS
The WHS Chapter of the National Honor Society, sponsored the Winter Formal Dance held this past Friday evening at Wellington High School. Young, Groom & McComb - Finish in TOP 3! (Updated)
Both the WHS Varsity and JV Wrestlers opened their 2017-2018 seasons on the road Saturday. (Dec. 2nd) The JV were in action at Winfield HS and the Varsity trekked a little further, about 100 miles to be exact, to Caney Valley HS, just this side of Coffeyville in SE Kansas.
Knight / Lady Knight Basketball Off and Running!
Winter sports are underway, well at least at the middle school! Both the girls and boys 7/8 A&B teams had their season openers last night (Thursday), the boys hosted HAYSVILLE WEST MS here at WMS in both gyms and the girls traveled to HAYSVILLE WEST for some road action.
Overall, a good night for the KNIGHTS and LADY KNIGHTS – the former SPLIT, winning 2 and losing 2 but the latter (the ladies!) swept Haysville West (on the road), coming home with 4 wins and no losses – great start to the season!
