On Saturday, September 9, Wellington held its annual home cross country meet for high school and middle school at the Watershed at Hargis Creek.  All together, there were 465 runners who participated in the day, and we had 18 high school runners participate across three events.  The Lady Crusaders had enough participating in the 2-mile to comprise a team, and they took 1st!

Freshman Maddie Fullerton was the first across the finish line in the Women's 2-Mile followed by several teammates to fill out several of the top 10 spots.  Brodee Lough also notably placed 2nd in the Men's 2-Mile.
