WHS Winter Homecoming is underway!

This weekend the Duke candidates continued the decades-old Crusader website tradition of taking formal photos to kick off Spirit Week!  This crop of candidates--Lex Goff, Jason Golden, Cooper Hatfield, Trevan Hernandez, and Luke Wylie--were looking quite dapper with their Duchess candidate dates!

Spirit Week will be short, as the teachers had an inservice day today.  You can find the themes for each of the four days on the high school facebook page.  StuCo worked hard to develop these themes and we are excited to see what the students come up with to meet each challenge!

The Duke coronation ceremony will occur at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game this Friday.  The Duke candidates will be escorted by the fall homecoming candidates: Claire Ginter (Jason Golden), Natalie Burnett (Lex Goff), Trevan Hernandez (Elle Wright), Kylan Gregory (Luke Wylie), and Duchess Cruz Cornejo (Cooper Hatfield).  The child attendants will be Gideon Meeks, son of Jeremiah and Michelle Meeks, and Bobbi Gulick, daughter of Clint and Holly Gulick.  The high school student escorts for the children will be Will Mott and Haley Gulick.
