WHS Varsity Boys Golf WINS @ Hesston today!

The ink flowed at WHS Wednesday afternoon...WHS Senior Peyton Linker signed with Southwestern College in Winfield, to play golf this coming school year!

Congratulations Linker - awesome stuff!

The WHS JV Boys Tennis squad hosted Conway Springs, El Dorado, and Valley Center in QUAD action Monday @ 9th St. Courts. The Wellington boys came away with the 1st place TEAM WIN - here are the individual results for the Crusaders:

Kayden Martin 1-2 (played #2 singles Monday for El Dorado)

#1 Singles // Aidan Young 3-0 1st Place

#2 Singles // Hudson Lawrence 3-0 1st Place

#1 Doubles // Tanner Meyer & Deitrek Gill 2-0 1st Place

The WHS JV Golf Boys were at Sierra Hills Monday in invitational action - besides themselves, also participating, Andover Central, Andover, Augusta, Buhler, Eisenhower, Goddard, Hesston, Maize South, Valley Center and Wichita Collegiate.

to Kaeden Gill who shot a 77 (Medal), placing 2nd and to Caden Lawrence (Medal), a 79 to finish 7th. Taylon Ellis came in at 84 and Braeden Ybarra, 89.

The WHS JV Golf Boys took it to the bank Thursday, finishing 1st at the JV Invitational hosted by Hesston at their Golf Park. The Crusaders walked away with the GOLD, finishing first as a team with 379 strokes.

Finishing 1st individually, WHS's Caden Lawrence with an 80, Kaeden Gill was runner up with an 86, Braedon Ybarra placed 5th and Taylon Ellis 8th! Way cool.

Congratulations gentlemen - awesome showing! GO BIG RED!!

The USA Wrestling rankings are out and WHS Sophomore Anna Cullens has moved up to 22nd in the nation! A phenomenal student-athlete and young lady.

Congratulations  Anna - so many of us are soooo proud!!
