The WHS Boys Golf Team hosted over a dozen area teams today out at Wellington Golf Club! The Crusaders had a very good day, finishing 2nd (312), just 2 shots out of first behind Goddard (310).
Winning "first" recently at the Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference in Wichita (and consequently, a trip to Nationals in Anaheim, CA in early May), the KWHS NEWS TEAM stepped up again on Wednesday.

The WHS "C" Team Boys Baseball team hosted Belle Plaine Tuesday afternoon at 9th St. Belle Plaine had it's moments but in the end, it was the Crusaders all the way. In double-header action, Wellington controlled the diamond, final scores 15-4 and 12-4.
The Varsity Lady Softball squad road-tripped to Buhler on Monday - a long round trip made much better with 2 big wins behind excellent hitting & pitching in both contests. Congrats to Coach Buck and the ladies - great road show!!
