JV Football overtakes Andale in OT

JV Crusader Football hosted Andale on Labor Day evening and battled it out with the Indians in overtime to win 21-14!  Wellington.cc AND several WHS Crusader Yearbook cameras were there, and we're still sifting through all the photos!  Bear with us as we go through the 1,000's of photos we took, but go ahead and enjoy what's currently being uploaded to the galleries and we'll update here when the full sets have been added.

Crusaders fall to Andale 28-75

Debuting their new red helmets, the Crusaders opened the varsity football season Friday against a powerhouse Andale team on a "50-something"-game winning streak.  Turnovers plagued Wellington early in the game and there was no beating Andale's rushing game (The Indians rushed for 416 yards to our 45.), but there were still many promising things happening on the field for the Crusaders.

Cross Country competes at Clearwater

The WHS Cross Country Team attended Clearwater’s invitational yesterday afternoon, and all the Crusaders began their season in the 2-mile event.  Check out the results below and view some fun photos provided by the athletes, including Yearbook staff and WHS Digital Media Team members Will Mott, Caroline Mott, and Wesleigh Davis!
