WWII Radio Christmas Show! (Video Added!)

The WHS Crusader Choir and the "Crusaders of the Stage" collaborated in the "two" night presentation of "A CRUSADER CAROL - WWII Radio Christmas Show" out at WHS Thursday and Friday. Awesome sound and lighting by Brad Ewing, the icing on the cake. 

The program consisted of a step back in time, when radio was big and the war even bigger. The show also showcased some incredibly talented teenagers in song and more. There are many names you could mention, all performed superbly. 

Pratt DUALS Victory Away from CRUSADERS

The WHS Varsity and JV Wrestlers headed west Thursday for dual action vs Pratt HS. In the end, the Crusaders won about as many matches but 2 open weights and most of their losses by pins, was the team score difference in the end. Big Varsity Invitational this weekend at WHS - that gets underway @ 9AM in the main gym!

Cheney's State Ranking in 3A - Real Thing!

The Crusaders and Lady Crusaders ran into several defensive and offensive buzz saws Thursday evening, playing host to Cheney HS who is the actual host (of the Cheney Invitational), which has played itself out at the participant's schools, 2 of the last 3 nights this week. The 3 day round robin tournament will conclude this Saturday at host Cheney and they will be hard to beat. 

McCorkle Verbal Commits to D1 MVSU!

Wellington High School’s Brooke McCorkle, a 6 Ft. Junior, left handed pitcher, 1st base, powerhitter has verbally committed to play D1 softball at Mississippi Valley State University, in Bena, Mississippi, in the heart of the Mississippi Delta.

Brooke plays travel softball for the Tulsa Elite 16U out of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She is also on the WHS Volleyball & Powerlifting Teams.

Congratulations Brooke!! That is awesome!!

Crusader Basketball Update

The 2017-18 Basketball season for our girls and boys student-athletes at WHS, got underway Tuesday evening in Day 1 action of the Cheney Invitational. WHS switched their early season schedule this year after playing for "MANY" years in the 3 day Kingman Tournament @ KHS. The Cheney Invite is different in that each team plays 1 HOME game, 1 ROAD game and then the finale on Saturday at Cheney HS. It's a round robin format. WHS will host Cheney this Thursday and then go up against Chaparral @ Cheney on Saturday.
