CTE Showcase returns to WHS!
Wellington High School hosted the 10th "annual" Career & Technical Education (CTE) Showcase tonight after a two-year COVID-19 hiatus. It was great to see it back in its glory, full of a plethora of displays of classwork and proud students to talk about it! Student interns were present to speak about their experiences in the work force, gallery boards and tables were full of student artwork, the agriculture/horticulture classes had many plants for sale in the greenhouse, culinary students served canapés and other hors d'oeuvres, graphic arts and web design work were posted, and other school-based businesses such as the Dukes' Den were available to tour or had kiosks present--and this is but a few of the features at this year's Showcase! The CTE classes and career pathways their programs offer are the jewel of WHS!
