Wellington High held their end-of-year All-Sports Banquet this last Wednesday, May 4.  The program, intended to be at the football field, was moved indoors to the high school due to rain. Crusader Club was still able to provide their hot dog and hamburger dinner from the school cafeteria, though, and the show went on in the main gymnasium!  Many fine athletes were recognized and honored for their accomplishments throughout the year, and a handful of seniors also received special recognition and awards for their high school careers. Coach Aguilar announced that this year’s recipient of the Coach Giff Award is Hagen Wight! Additionally, Hagen was awarded the Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year! Seniors Airalyn Frame and Ali Zeka were named Co-Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year! Congratulations to all!!!
