The Kansas Business Hall of Fame held an Essay Contest recently, receiving 92 entries from 10 Kansas high schools, almost double from last year's entries. A representative from KBHF paid a surprise visit Wednesday to Mrs. Elizabeth Vaughn's class where Freshman Jael Catlett was presented with a certificate for being 1 of the top 3 winners in the State! Jael, along with Jordin MacKenzie, a freshman at Blue Valley North, and Melvin Le, a sophomore from Liberal, took the top spots in the contest!

Each will receive $100 and will be honored at the 47th Annual Awards Banquet on Tuesday, June 4th , at the KSU Alumni Center in Manhattan, KS.
