The JV season kicked off last Thursday with a pretty competitive tournament at Maize South.  Freshman twins Addi and Gracie Thomson filled the #1 doubles role for Wellington and went 3-0 on the day for a 1st place finish, fighting back from 1-4 in their final match to win 6-4.  Also medaling in the tournament were the #2 doubles partners of senior Scout Douglas and sophomore Scotlyn Ewing; the pair finished 2-1 for 3rd place.  Though the singles players didn't place, both senior Sullivan Parkey and freshman Emma Norris both got some wins during this tournament.  

Keep up the good work, ladies!

Varsity will host Tuesday, September 4, to open their season.
