Crusaders Fare Well @ Regional Music Festival Saturday!

Several Crusader musicians performed at the Regional Solo and Small Ensemble Festival at Goddard Eisenhower Saturday.

Receiving II (Excellent) ratings were Cameron Carter, Quinn McCue, and Michaela Adkins-Washington for vocal solos, KayCee Pennington for trumpet solo, and Alexis Tracy for baritone sax solo.

Earning I (Superior) ratings and qualifying for State were Mariah Grable for vocal solo, Julia Starnes and Marisa Black for flute solos.

Meet Your WHS 2018 Boys Tennis Squad!

It's time to "officially" introduce the WHS 2018 Boys Tennis Squad and their coaches. This year's head coach Chad Whaley and asst coach Adrian Young are working with over a dozen tennis athletes and have found success at several meets thus far. Varsity still has meets at Circle (04/17), Winfield (04/20), Augusta (04/24).

JV will play at HOME one more time on Apr 23rd, hosting Conway Springs, Derby, El Dorado and Valley Center and then on the road to Circle Apr 24th.

WMS 7/8 Knights Host Haysville @ 9th St Courts

The Wellington Middle School Boys Tennis Team hosted Haysville yesterday.  The Knights dominated their opponent winning 19 matches to 2.  Great job, guys!! 

Individual winners were:  Carson Rademacher, Justin Norris, Jax Cornejo, Jack Wright, Trey Greenlee, Sonny Lipton, Jace Barton, Keaton Hartman, Nathan Hilt, Jay Ybarra, Christian Snipes, Colten Henning, Matt Pryce, Camden Parkey, Hunter Lough, Hudson Lawrence, Matthew Hogg and Josh Atkinson.

WHS Students fanned out across our fine community Wednesday, volunteering their services in a variety of ways at a variety of places. Freshmen stayed at the high school and worked hard, a good part of the morning, with Spring Cleaning chores and more.
