With rain threatening the parade and rally all day long, a decision was made mid-afternoon to GO FOR IT and that's what everyone did and it worked out great! It was raining lightly, leading up to the start of the event, but Mother Nature let up and the precip stopped soon thereafter - a nice crowd enjoyed all that was paradely offered.
The WHS Varsity and JV Volleyball Girls hosted Andale & Buhler Tuesday evening at WHS. It was also Senior Night. The team, prior to the last matches of the evening, paid tribute to Seniors Jennifer Jensen, McKenna Jones, Gracie Rausch, and Mgr. Autumn Reagan.

At the Andale Invitational at Cherry Oaks Golf Course in Cheney on Monday, the WHS Varsity Girls finished 5th out of 12 teams.
Payton Ginter finished 8th place with a score of 90.

The WHS "C" Team Football boys dominated the first half vs their counterparts from Augusta, leading the visiting Orioles Monday evening 16-0. Another half later, the tide had turned, final score Augusta 24 Wellington 22. The "C" Team are now 1-3 on the season, with previous losses vs Collegiate and Andale, and a victory last week at Clearwater.
