Girls Golfers are Regional Champions, bound for State

The Lady Crusaders Golf Team continue to add hardware to their collection this season: they are REGIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!! The team took first at the regional tournament held last week at Turkey Creek Golf Course in McPherson. Additionally, freshman Claire Ginter led the field with a new PR (76) to become INDIVIDUAL REGIONAL CHAMPION!!! Wow!!
After the win, Coach Ginter said, "Our expectations are to prepare as hard as we can over the next week and give our girls the best opportunity to go out Monday and Tuesday and compete for a state championship. They deserve that. Our freshman come along quickly. We're excited for next week and we'll be ready."

The team shot a 356 and were followed by runner-up Pratt who shot a 374 total. Congratulations, ladies, and coaches Ginter and Sawyer!
