After a rain delay from Monday, the Crusader Baseball boys resumed action in the first of 2 semi-final games to be played Wednesday, before the championship game nightcap (so to speak). Up first Mulvane - a late rally by the Wildcats came up short - WHS 6 MHS 4:

It was Regional 4A Softball time in Ark City Tuesday, mother nature cooperated more than she had the night before in Winfield for the Regional 4A Baseball Tournament, which was rained out after the first game, that will conclude today, beginning at NOON for the Crusader Baseball boys.

The Wellington Crusaders had "6" student-athletes in competition on Saturday at the Regional 4A Cross Country Meete at El Dorado State Park.
In the Girls 5K, Mackenzie Heacock broke her own WHS School Record with her personal best time of 22.21, finishing 13th. Mackenzie missed qualifying for the State 4A Cross Country Meet next weekend at Wamego by just 1 place. Katrina Dvorak finished 36 with a time of 24.57.
