Mid-season tournaments are over and all the squads are back together again...well, almost. The WHS Girls program whose numbers were down a bit this year, resulting in no "C" Team, those numbers were down even more Tuesday when about 1/3 of the squad was home ill. Consequently, on the girls side, only the Varsity game was played. (See Girls Post for info about that).

In the boys Varsity game, Wellington maintained early with good outside shooting from Brown and Meyer, and the score was knotted at 10 at one point. Buhler began to pull away in the 2nd qtr and lead by 8 at halftime. Buhler picked up the pace after the break, outscoring Wellington 39-15 down the stretch, final score BHS 59 WHS 27.

The JV boys found success, moving their record to 2-9, the C Team Boys came up short 33-42.

Between the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys games, this year's "basketball" seniors and their parents were honored. 10 seniors, all totaled...
