The volleyball team hosted their annual Gatorade Alumni Scrimmage last Thursday and not only brought in a haul of water and gatorade, but drew in a great crowd of fans and the biggest alumni group to-date!  

This event serves as a preview of the season and opportunity for the team to gather up supplies by way of asking for gatorade or water as admission to the event.  It's a good time every year, but this time the alumni (and coaching staff) participants attended in such numbers that they were able to make up two different teams to scrimmage the JV and Varsity Lady Crusaders.  Thursday's scrimmage also brought new alumni faces who haven't participated in the past, no doubt drawn to the event by former WHS volleyball teammate and the new Lady Crusaders head coach, Mandy Zeka Ramos (WHS Class of 2006).  The alumni/coaches teams boasted at least six participants who played ball in college and graduates of WHS spanning 20 years (2022 to 2002)!!!  And I have to say, the ladies still got it!
