It was VOLLEYBALL action time Tuesday at WHS, the last home stand for the 2018 Lady Crusader Volleyball Squads. "7" Seniors and their parents were honored...this is a group that has played together a long time - very familiar faces that will be missed. Andale dominated the action on the courts, downing Wellington and Rose Hill, each in 2 sets. Rose Hill came out on top of Wellington in 2 sets also. In JV action, same outcomes.

CRUSADERS are 3-1 / Augusta 14 Wellington 35 (Game Pics Posted)

For the 2nd time this season, the IRONDUKES were at HOME and the eventual outcome was good, but it took a while before Wellington could pull away from the visiting Orioles.

At halftime, WHS was up only 14-7. A strong 14 point 3rd qtr for the HOME team secured the cause, as its now 28-7. Augusta would score one more time in the 4th, so would Wellington. As the whistles blew, the game ended 35-14, the team in red could ring the bell!
