The WMS and WHS Choirs had their first performances of the 2018-2019 school year (if you don't count the awesome Lawn Concert just before school began in August!), at Wellington High School Tuesday evening, under the direction of Jessica Coldwell and accompanied on the piano with Jeanie Escobar. Lady Crusaders Host Volleyball Triangular / Senior Night Too

It was VOLLEYBALL action time Tuesday at WHS, the last home stand for the 2018 Lady Crusader Volleyball Squads. "7" Seniors and their parents were honored...this is a group that has played together a long time - very familiar faces that will be missed. Andale dominated the action on the courts, downing Wellington and Rose Hill, each in 2 sets. Rose Hill came out on top of Wellington in 2 sets also. In JV action, same outcomes.

DUCHESS Homecoming Dance 2018 @ WHS!

Homecoming Week (i.e. SPIRIT WEEK) usually culminates with the traditional HOMECOMING DANCE - this year, no exception! Dozens of Crusaders on hand after the football game to celebrate and pay honor to our new reigning Duchess Juliette Hyer!

These pics are courtesy pics from Dominique Callaway, Abby Mohr, and Mackenzie Henry, all WHS Yearbook folks! They did an awesome job - enjoy! Below that link, all the links since last Sunday evening when the craziness began! GO BIG RED!!

CRUSADERS are 3-1 / Augusta 14 Wellington 35 (Game Pics Posted)

For the 2nd time this season, the IRONDUKES were at HOME and the eventual outcome was good, but it took a while before Wellington could pull away from the visiting Orioles.

At halftime, WHS was up only 14-7. A strong 14 point 3rd qtr for the HOME team secured the cause, as its now 28-7. Augusta would score one more time in the 4th, so would Wellington. As the whistles blew, the game ended 35-14, the team in red could ring the bell!

Juliette Hyer Crowned WHS Duchess! (Pics Are Posted!)

Juliette Hyer was crowned the 2018 WHS Duchess Friday evening during halftime of the Augusta vs Wellington game. That game ended in victory for Wellington, downing Augusta 35-14.

This Fall's Duchess Candidates in addition to Hyer, were Jacelyn Buck, Taylor Meyer, Arielle Pottier, and Skylar Troutman.
