Lady Crusaders runner-up at Sierra Hills course

On Tuesday, September 5, Varsity Girls Golf placed 2nd at the 18-hole, Par-3 Sierra Hills course. The Crusaders were runner-up to the 5A Andover Trojans at this Andover Central-hosted invitational, and we had two individual medalists, as well! Assistant Coach Sawyer reports, “The girls played great in this hot weather…We were very impressed with the girls’ scores and overall play. We hope to see our scores continue to trend in the way we’re headed and some other players stepped up for our team today!”

The team travels to Winfield this Thursday.

Crusaders fall to Andale 28-75

Debuting their new red helmets, the Crusaders opened the varsity football season Friday against a powerhouse Andale team on a "50-something"-game winning streak.  Turnovers plagued Wellington early in the game and there was no beating Andale's rushing game (The Indians rushed for 416 yards to our 45.), but there were still many promising things happening on the field for the Crusaders.
