Prior to the start of the school year, the 2025 Lady Crusader Powerlifters convened in the weight room for a special occasion: collecting a championship ring for 4A State Powerlifting. The team took 1st in the Wellington-hosted state meet this past March. For many Lady Crusaders, this makes their second in a set of powerlifting state rings, as the team also took 1st the previous year.
The application for the Steve Sturgis / WHS.CC School Supply Scholarship is now live! If you are a Wellington High School graduate of 2025 and plan to attend a post-secondary institution, you are eligible!
Per Eunice Kimball Overman, the Class of 1955 is holding a mini-reunion on Monday, May 26 at 3:30 at Canelo's Mexican Restaurant in Wellington.
