Kudos to the Community Connections class at WHS, instructed by Mrs. Karla Lawless. Her students held a fundraiser recently and with the proceeds purchased PUMPKINS to share with students at Kennedy Elementary just down ole Crusader Road.
Students from Mrs. Lawless' class as well as WHS LEADERSHIP students took part in the pumpkin cleaning and carving activities Monday and Tuesday this week with the 3rd graders at Kennedy. I think all the "kids" younger and older, were having some fun!
