Lady Crusaders Golf hosted an 18-hole tournament at Wellington Golf Club yesterday and had a fantastic team outing!  Wellington took 1st as a team by 26 strokes!

Junior Taryn Viramontes had a fantastic day.  She went neck and neck for the top standing with a very talented Buhler freshman in her group and they were tied in the front nine, but in the final few holes played, Taryn held fast and gradually pulled away for a 1st place finish and PR of 73 (+3).  Her score also tied teammate Claire Ginter's school record!  (The previous record was Payton Ginter's score of 76 (+5) until her younger sister broke it with her 3-over-par score last year at Hutch.)

Taryn was joined in the Top 10 by fellow juniors Presley Cornejo who took 6th with an 87 and Claire Ginter at 3rd with an 82!  Rounding out the team score for Wellington was freshman Bella Angleton with her 106 strokes.
