Lady Crusader Golfers are LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!

For the THIRD TIME IN A ROW, the Lady Crusader Golf program is taking home the league plaque! It was a nail-biter at times, but Wellington finished 5 strokes under runner-up Buhler on October 8.

All six golfers finished in the top 10 for Division IV and take home individual medals and league honors!

2nd - Taryn Viramontes 78 - 1st Team All-League

3rd - Claire Ginter 84 - 1st Team All-League

4th - Presley Cornejo 88 - 1st Team All-League

5th - Haley Gulick 88 (PR) - 1st Team All-League

6th - Bella Angleton 93 (PR) - 1st Team All-League

8th - Kenna Maxwell 98 - 2nd Team All-League

Wellington started the day in the lead, but at one point was trailing behind both Buhler and McPherson before pulling away from the others in the final stretch. Taryn Viramontes had a great back nine, shooting 1 over par, and newcomer to the team Haley Gulick had a fantastic day, smashing her previous PR by 12 strokes and clinching the undisputed win by Wellington!
