The make-up games Monday evening at WHS with the Clearwater Indians went well for the Varsity and JV Boys! Last time these two Varsity Teams went head to head, the Indians won easily 51-39 (Chaparral Tournament).

The tables turned Monday evening and the Crusaders lit it up, inside and out. Probably the best game the Varsity Boys have played this season...let's just say they were a machine! It was SENIOR NIGHT and the seniors certainly did their part in the final 76-49 victory, scoring 60 of the 76 points, wrapping up the regular season with a big "W" and now (as the #4 seed), they prepare for 4A Sub-State action this coming Friday at Ark City HS vs the #1 seed and host Ark City.
Tip off for that game will be at 7:30PM. The winner will advance to the Sub-State Championship Saturday evening also at Ark City HS.

A.J. Snipes saw his first action Monday after a 3-4 week hiatus recovering from a concussion. He certainly didn't lose his touch, scoring 22 points in his return. But teammate Ian King, who has come on like gangbusters the past several games, took high point honors with 27. Great confidence and execution by these young men Monday evening. Congratulations Crusaders (and JV Crusaders) for your regular season and end of season (respectively) performances!
