The 7th & 8th grade Football Knights hosted Ark City Thursday at Sellers Park...ended up being a split // the 7th graders struggled against the Bulldogs coming up short 00-36.

In the nightcap, the battle was on and the 8th graders were tied at 20 a piece at halftime. Wellington 8th grade Knights were able to pull away in the 2nd half (against a larger Ark City squad) and the final score was WMS 8th Graders 48 Ark City 34.

The 5-0 Lady Crusader Freshman Volleyball Team hosted a QUAD Thursday at WHS vs Andale, Circle and McPherson...here are the outcomes and they are awesome - they are now 8-0 on the season!)

The Wellington JV Girls Tennis Quad was held Thursday afternoon at 9th St, it was hot as we knew September might be after such a pleasant August! The young ladies stayed hydrated and it was a close finish with Eisenhower just edging out the JV Lady Crusaders to claim 1st place team finish.

Our Varsity and Jr. Varsity Volleyball squads were in action at HOME for the first time this season on Tuesday. The Triangular featured host Wellington and also Wichita Collegiate and Rose Hill. The Lady Rockets were 4A State Champs last season and are ranked #1 at the present time.
