Austin Harriger and Austin Fink, for the 3rd year in a row, will be heading to the State 4A Debate Tournament in Ft. Scott tomorrow and Saturday. A sendoff was held today at WHS for the pair and their spares, Lizzie Harriger and Philip Starnes. We wish them all the best and appreciate greatly their awesome representation over the years. GO BIG RED!!!
The Patriot League Spelling Bee was held Tuesday afternoon at Wellington Middle School. Individuals from Clearwater, Rose Hill, Haysville West, Mulvane, Prairie Hills (Buhler), and of course Wellington participated - here are the outcomes for both 7th and 8th grades - CONGRATS TO ALL!!
The Lady Crusaders SWEPT for the 5th time this season, taking care of business with the visiting Lady Spartans of Collegiate on Tuesday at WHS. Traditionally, the Lady Crusaders have done well against the Lady Spartans, that tradition continues. We don't have a lot of height but compensate for that with good ball handling and speed. The JV continues with the EGG in the loss column, moving to 8-0 after a battle with the visiting Spartans.
