Congratulations to the Wellington Middle School 7th Grade Lady Knights Basketball Team!!! After winning the "regular season" PIONEER LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP, with only 1 loss, they now have added the end of season PIONEER LEAGUE TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP to their repertoire! Way to go Coach Whaley and Lady Knights!
Both the 7th grade and 8th grade Lady Knight basketball squads came one game closer to all the marbles Saturday in semi-final action at Mulvane vs Mulvane in the season concluding PIONEER LEAGUE TOURNAMENT which will culminate on Monday.
Congratulations to Coach Frazee and his 8th grade Lady Knights - their 37-17 victory Saturday improved their overall season record to 14-0 and now 11-0 in league! One more big game to go, Monday at Mulvane MS vs El Dorado MS at approx. 6:15pm.

The WMS Lady Knights have worn out a few brooms already this season and there's still "5" regular season games to go for the 7A & 7B & 8A & 8B squads, who Monday SWEPT their opponent (Mulvane), the 5th SWEEP this season by the girls in red. 11/30 vs Haysville West - SWEEP // 12/11 vs Ark City - SWEEP // 12/14 vs Clearwater - SWEEP // 1/4 vs Winfield - SWEEP and now Mulvane.
