The WHS "C" Team Boys Baseball team hosted Belle Plaine Tuesday afternoon at 9th St. Belle Plaine had it's moments but in the end, it was the Crusaders all the way. In double-header action, Wellington controlled the diamond, final scores 15-4 and 12-4.
Clearwater Freshmen/Sophs were visitors Monday evening at Sellers Park. Final score not available but the Indians did win this go-round.
The WHS "C" Baseball Team (Sophs & Freshmen) took a short road trip over to Belle Plaine Tuesday afternoon for a "7" inning contest. The Dragons jumped out on the Crusaders and lead by 5-6 runs early on. The boys in red rallied and at games' end, it was WHS 14 BPHS 10.
