Lady Crusader Tennis participated in a five-team invitational in El Dorado on September 16, and the girls all finished in the Top 2, good enough for a 1st Place finish as a team!
Kadynce Aufdengarten and Logan Robinson played as #1 Doubles and went 4-0 for 1st place. Kendall Janzen and Ellie Hays went 3-1 as #2 Doubles which tied them for 1st, but they ended up as the 2nd Place team after tiebreaker criteria was applied. Addie Hinshaw played #1 Singles and went 3-1 for 2nd place, and Kyra Cornejo went 4-0 for 1st in #2 Singles.

Lady Crusader Volleyball were Runner-Up at Chaparral at the September 16 invitational! The girls took care of business against Belle Plaine, Medicine Lodge, and Independent, but couldn’t overtake that pesky Clearwater team in the championship.
Additionally, Katelyn Kessler and Brylee Johnson were selected to the all-tournament team!

It was a wet and rainy evening last Friday when the Crusaders were on the road again to take on the Wichita Collegiate Spartans. The weather did not hinder the Spartans one bit as they racked up 470 yards of offense on their way to a 56-20 win.
The WHS girls golf team was able to squeeze in a tournament on Friday, September 15 since the beginning of the week’s home tourney was rained out, so the Lady Crusaders trekked to McPherson to play at Turkey Creek. Three of the girls PR’ed, two medaled, and the varsity team placed 4th overall against several teams they would see at a State appearance.

The men's and women's teams traveled to Chaparral High School's cross country Invitational on September 14, and BOTH TEAMS placed 1st!
