7th Inning Rally Falls Short for DUKES @ Babe Ruth Regional Friday

Nice rally but the Wellington Dukes fall short in pool play day #2 action, losing to Colorado 5-3. Down 5-1 in the top of the 7th, Wellington scored two and came close to scoring more. Great effort. The DUKES left 10 stranded. DeAndre Washington was player of the game for the Dukes. Washington and Silas Popplewell have both had great "on-base" percentages this tournament. Now 0-2 in pool play, will go up against North Dakota Saturday afternoon at 4:30PM
