Wellington hosted a second JV invitational for tennis in as many weeks, and the group was out in full force!  The Crusaders have enough players for two JV teams, Red an White, and the Wellington Red team, consisting of Sawyer Parkey, Jordan Koehn, Alyra Koerner, Emma Stover, Breonna Chamberlain, and Savannah Saunders, ended up tied for 2nd!

Wellington Girls Golf competed in the Andale Invitational on September 26 and once again placed FIRST!!!!  This is the fifth tournament this season that the team has been champions.  Additionally, Elly DeJarnett, Presley Cornejo, and Evelyn Trafecanty all set new PRs at this invitational!  Congratulations to the team and coaches Ginter and Saywer!!

The Wellington High School football team traveled to Altamont to face off against the Labette County Grizzlies last Friday, September 23. Malachi Rogers had himself another big night, rushing for 154 yards and 3 touchdowns while also scoring on defense with a 39-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown.
