Wellington Tennis competed at League held in El Dorado yesterday, October 3, and Coach Aufty reports that the team "had an outstanding day"! Their goal was to finish in the Top 5 as a team, as "we are in the toughest 4A league in the state with Division III and IV combined." The team exceeded their goal. Aufdengarten reports, " We finished 3rd as a team right behind McPherson. Wichita Collegiate won their 12th team title out of 13 years in the league."

The Wellington Crusaders traveled to El Dorado September 30 and took care of business paving their way to a 45-8 victory over the Wildcats. The Dukes were in control the entire game, going for a shutout until El Dorado scored a 4th-quarter touchdown on a 67-yard run.
On Friday, September 30, Girls Golf participated in the Hutchinson Invitational at Carey Park with a LOT of competition. The team placed 4th in a large field, and bested the rest of the 4A competition present. Well done against some bigger schools, girls!
