The WHS Debate Team hit the road today for the first time. Only the novices competed at El Dorado - Lizzie Harriger and Philip Starnes went 2-2, Aurora Young and Karolina Gadzik went 3-1, and Quinn Mccue and Riley Anderson earned second place with a win-loss record of 4-0! This was the first time debating EVER for this group of novices!!
The WHS Cross Country team road-tripped west to the Chaparral HS Invitational Meet on Thursday, held at Anthony Lake. In the shade, not too bad except for intermittent walls of dirt created by a strong south wind and a field being plowed south of the race area.
The WHS JV Girls Tennis squad hosted Conway Springs, Ark City, Circle, El Dorado and Winfield Tuesday afternoon under sunny skies and warm temps, especially on or near the courts. A nice breeze kept all of that in check though.
No results yet but some pics for ya - will update later!!
