The IRON DUKE SUMMER 2018 PSQ began this week, from 1st graders up through high school. Different age groups report at different times each morning (Mon – Thu) for the 6-week long program.

The IRON DUKE SUMMER PROGRAM, for those that may not know is a weight and speed development program sponsored by the athletic staff. This program is designed to increase your speed, strength, agility, and flexibility. It has a proven track record that involves weight training, form running, agility, plyometrics, aerobics, and flexibility training. Your athlete can and should expect improvement in each of these areas and in overall conditioning.

There has been a large turnout for the early session which begins at 6:30AM Mon – Thu for High School Male & Female athletes. A 2nd HS section follows at 8:15AM, followed by MS and then 1st-5th graders to finish out the morning…the latter, just Mon-Wed. The pics (link below) were from the 2nd HS session on Tuesday and the WMS session. We’ll have more pics soon! Multiple coaches are involved with the program…on this particular day Head WHS Football Coach Zane Aguilar, Head WHS Boys Basketball Coach Joe Newman and Asst. HS Football Coach Nick Wellington were putting the young student-athletes through the paces.
