Strong 4th Qtr Lifts Augusta over Crusaders 21-14
courtesy sutv.com
The CRUSADERS had a battle on their hands Friday at Augusta and demonstrated more strength in several areas than before. Despite those improvements, Augusta scored early in the 4th to tie it up, and with just 1:28 remaining, went ahead on a 3 yd scamper by their QB, PAT good. The Orioles had pulled ahead and would soon claim their 2nd victory of the season, 21-14.
Next up for WHS will be Rose Hill HERE this coming Friday, Oct. 4th - that will also be HOMECOMING, a new DUCHESS will be crowned at halftime. Prior to the 7PM kickoff, TENNIS SENIORS and their parents will be honored. Many other events this coming week as well, all SPIRIT RELATED!
