The WHS Crusader and Lady Crusader basketball squads ventured into Wildcat country Friday evening and nearly escaped unscathed. Overall, the teams in RED won 4, lost 1 - here's the tallies for the WHS Hoopsters:

Congratulations to Sr. Ian Groom, who will wrestle for the Regional 4A Championship and has qualified for State 4A tournament next weekend! Here's how Friday went for the Crusaders in the double-elimination event:

The WHS Choir under the direction of Jessica Coldwell were out and about today, singing "VALENGRAMS" to individuals and audiences across the Land of Crusaders! They started the day off at WHS, singing to the WHS teachers at their "Late Start Wednesday Meeting"...check out their sound - very good!!

The Lady Crusaders, both Varsity and JV were victorious Monday evening in their "make-up" games at Winfield HS, postponed in mid-January due to weather.
The Wellington High School Special K Basketball squad saw HOME action Friday, hosting a team from Derby in front of a packed gym of fans and supporters for both squads. It's one of those many times throughout the year, you walk away from WHS feeling proud of the students and your community.
Wellington has "2" squads that rotated in and out, the RED team and the WHITE team - it's time to meet the athletes!
