WHS Citizenship Students Spearhead Donation Drive!

Students and staff, Mrs Defore’s 4th period citizenship students are having a donation drive for items to give to Searchlight, a charity for Sumner County homeless.

We need students to bring items we have listed on our flyers located around the school. For each item you bring, you will be entered into a drawing for a 20 dollar VISA gift card.

Please bring all items to the table we have set up in the commons before school each day next week.

Headline Wellington High School Celebrates Students in Career and Technical Education

What: Students and faculty at Wellington High School are celebrating Career and Technical Education (CTE).  This year’s theme is Oh the places you will go with CTE! Hundreds of CTE students will showcase their work. The public is invited to attend and support their endeavors.  

WMS 7/8 Boys Tennis Host Ark City & Dominate!

The Wellington Middle School Boys Tennis Team hosted Ark City on Tuesday.  The Knights were victorious winning 15 matches against 4 losses.  Way to go, boys!!  Individual winners were:  Jax Cornejo, Carson Rademacher, Sonny Lipton, Trey Greenlee, Justin Norris, Jack Wright, Jace Barton, Keaton Hartman, Nathan Hilt, Jay Ybarra, Christian Snipes and Colten Henning.

Wellington Girls Sweep Buhler @ Worden!

Perfect evening at Worden Park, all the way around. Sunshine, a light breeze and pleasant temps were Mother Nature's contribution / 23 hits and 22 runs, compliments of the Lady Crusaders. Wellington's bats exploded in the nightcap with multiple singles, 5 doubles, 1 triple, and 1 home run by Jacelyn Buck.
Winning pitcher in game #1 - Brooke McCorkle, in game #2 - Annika DeJarnett. The young ladies are back at .500 now, 5-5 on the season with lots of MO! Great Job!!
