A Look at THE LOUGH BROTHERS!
Larance & Carrie Lough probably had no idea, a dozen or so years ago, when they presented a small "roll-out" piano to their first-born, Mason, who was 3 at the time. It was of immediate interest to their son, and when, a couple of years later, a relative purchased a nicer keyboard for the boy, it became clear the young man possessed exceptional musical abilities. "At age 5, Mason could listen to a song, turn to his keyboard and play it," mother Carrie shared in a sit-down with the two and younger brother and musician Hunter recently.
Varsity Volleyball @ Winfield / Wins Over Trinity & Conway
The season got underway Saturday at Winfield HS for the Lady Crusader Varsity Volleyball Team. The "pre-season" warm-up event for several teams started at 8AM and ran throughout the day. When it was over, the Lady Crusaders had won two matches and lost three.

WHS Volleyball Scrimmage Held Thursday!
The annual Gatorade/Water Volleyball Scrimmage was held Thursday at WHS. Folks brought in Gatorade and water for the girls to use throughout the season. The Lady Crusaders entertained the fans with some scrimmage action as they prepare for their season openers on Saturday and next week HERE at HOME!

It's time to meet your 2018 Lady Crusader Volleyball Team! Action gets underway this Saturday in a pre-season warm-up tournament at Winfield HS. The Lady Crusaders will be at HOME next Tuesday! Come out and support!!

The Non-Hamburger Scrimmage Held Saturday @ WHS
The IRONDUKES scrimmaged at WHS Saturday morning. The younger boys in red took to the field first, followed later by the upperclassmen. Several fans were on hand to watch as well. This is the "warm-up" scrimmage before the big HAMBURGER SCRIMMAGE on slate for Thursday, Aug. 23rd at Sellers Park.
