Lots of color at this Crusader Choir Concert!

The Wellington High School Crusader Singers and Choir performed their Spring Concert Thursday evening in the auditorium. Brad Ewing was on top of the sound and lights, a very colorful and well performed concert in front of a large crowd of parents, friends  and fans. Multiple numbers, including 8 solos and more, all directed by Jessica Coldwell - all well received by those in attendance.
 

Pioneer League Tennis Update! (Results Are In)

After an UNDEFEATED regular season, the WMS 7/8 Boys Tennis Team were in the "end of season" Pioneer League Tournament action at Winfield on Monday. The squad played well as they had all year but came up short, finishing in 2nd, just a few points out of 1st, behind Ark City.  Good job, gentlemen!!

Lady Crusaders Fall to Lady Rockets Thursday

The Lady Rockets proved to be too much for the Lady Crusaders Thursday at Worden Park. Errors got the best of Wellington in game 1. In game 2, the Lady Rockets jumped out early and held on. The Wellington girls did blast 6 HOME RUNS. (Rylee Rusk 2, Jacelyn Buck 2, Brooke McCorkle 1 and Gracie Fink 1) Prior to the opener, the 6 Senior and their parents were honored also!

Crusaders SWEEP the Rockets @ Hibbs-Hooten Thursday!

The Crusaders jumped out on the Rose Hill Rockets early Thursday down at Hibbs-Hooten Field, and never looked back. In the opener, Wellington won 6-1. Cade Phelps got the win on the mound and helped his cause with 2 HR's to boot! Almost error free action - just 1 error on the Crusaders. Arlis Troutman & Trey Cary came in to finish what Phelps had started. It was SENIOR NIGHT too - 7 seniors and their parents were honored before the nightcap began!
