Our Freshman Volleyball girls hosted Augusta Thursday evening in a best of 5 format.

WHS lost a heartbreaker in the first set 24-26, but fought back hard and won sets 2, 3, and 4 for the overall WIN!

The Varsity Girls Tennis squad competed at Kingman HS Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Crusaders finished 2nd as a team.

Andale beat Rose Hill

A game never in question Monday evening. The WHS JV Football squad hosted their counterparts from Labette Co. and the outcome was clear early on. Labette shot themselves in the foot, numerous times, to make any semblance of a competitive game impossible. The Grizzlies did display some nice passing plays but overall, never got anything to click on either side of the ball for very long. Down 59-6 at halftime, it would be a running clock from then on. 

The Crusaders put "1" in the WIN COLUMN Friday night @ Labette County. A penalty-filled game, with flags flying like snow, especially in the first half. The Crusaders overcame and secured their first win of the season early in the 2nd half.
