"Kindness Counts" Recognizes Another Awardee!
IMPACT BANK is sponsoring a new program this year at Wellington High School. It is called - "KINDNESS COUNTS"! Here's how it works!
There are multiple staff members at WHS that have been selected as "anonymous observers". (they don't even know who the other observers are) Their task this school year, when they observe a student exhibiting KINDNESS, in any variety of ways, they will nominate that student for recognition, and in turn, IMPACT BANK will award the selectee, for their display of "KINDNESS", a $25 Gift Card!

Debate Team Finishes 3rd @ Buhler HS Saturday!
The WHS Debate Team, competing with "2" novice squads, competed in the Open Division Saturday at Buhler HS and as a team, finished 3rd!
Riley Anderson and Philip Starnes placed 4th with a 3-1 record. The students also enjoyed a vigorous game of "Jack Rackham's Revenge", (created by Camryn Bannister and Kate Haines as 7th graders).
Veterans Day Program - Always A Crowd Pleaser!
The annual VETERANS DAY PROGRAM was held Thursday at WHS and was well attended by schools and the public!
Larry Anderson welcomed the participants. The Color Guard (David Carroll and Jim Scheerger) posted the colors, while the WHS Choir performed the Star Spangled Banner. Performances by numerous choirs would follow, from WHS, WMS and the 4 elementary schools, Kennedy, Lincoln, Eisenhower and Washington.
