KSHSAA released info about the upcoming post-season Basketball Tournaments, slated for Feb. 27th thru March 6th. Click below for all the info!
KSHSAA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT SERIES
For the 3rd consecutive year, the laptop program is no longer part of the LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM administered by the WHS Guidance Office. Prior to to the 2019 school year, if you filled out that application, you were also eligible for a laptop through the Crusader Website.
It was a SPLIT at Winfield Tuesday evening, the WELLINGTON CRUSADERS won 3, WINFIELD the same. The Lady Crusaders were back in action following a 3 game hiatus due to health restrictions. Both Varsity squads leave 2020 and enter 2021 with more "W's" than not. Tanner Meyer lit it up for 29, Airalyn Frame for 19. The JV Boys have won 3 of their last 4. Deitrek Gill 21 pts!The "C" Team boys took the Vikings to OT. Landyn Glenn 22 pts! Some good basketball was played, I'm excited for post-break action! Check out the scoring:

THE WHS BAND CHRISTMAS CONCERT, under the direction of Mr. Allen Hisken.
The Crusader Choir presented "A CRUSADER CHRISTMAS" Thursday evening at WHS. Also performing, the WMS 6th, 7th and 8th grade choirs. The event was directed by Mrs.Jennifer Ault and her accompanist, Carol Hisken.
In Act 1, it was "Christmas Welcome", performed by the 6th & 7th Grade Choirs. That was followed by:
"Do You Hear What I Hear?" by the Crusader Singers
"Carol of the Bells" by the Concert Choir
