The 9th Annual CTE (Career & Technical Education) Showcase was on slate Wednesday evening at WHS - impressions? impressive!!
The WMS Golfers had a good day Wednesday at the Rose Hill Tournament played at Sierra Hills Golf Course!
Congratulations to the "GIRLS" team - they finished 1st!!

The Crusaders were in action Thursday at the Clearwater Invitational Track Meet. The boys finished 2nd, just behind Andale, the girls 6th. Here are the overall results and the TOP 7 Crusader finishes broken out separately for your viewing convenience - Great Job WHS!!

Congratulations to the WMS 7/8 Golf Team and Coach Jeff DeJarnett! At the Patriot League Championships Thursday in Augusta, the WMS Girls emerged as the 2019 PATRIOT LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!! Can't get any better than that!! The WMS Boys, right behind, finished 2ND, Individual Medalists were Carson Nugen, Kaeden Gill, Kasiah Richmond, Emma Stover, and Elly DeJarnett! Congratulations to all - fantastic showing for WMS!!

The NOON LIONS CLUB held their annual JR LIONS AWARD ceremony at WHS on Tuesday - 12 exceptional "JUNIORS", 6 boys and 6 girls were selected for this honor, an honor based on good character, citizenship, and community. Congratulations to the following WHS Class of 2020 awardees!

The Kansas Business Hall of Fame held an Essay Contest recently, receiving 92 entries from 10 Kansas high schools, almost double from last year's entries. A representative from KBHF paid a surprise visit Wednesday to Mrs. Elizabeth Vaughn's class where Freshman Jael Catlett was presented with a certificate for being 1 of the top 3 winners in the State! Jael, along with Jordin MacKenzie, a freshman at Blue Valley North, and Melvin Le, a sophomore from Liberal, took the top spots in the contest!
